With the major expansions in the size of the large truck fleet at MKO the operation soon found itself struggling with the small on highway service trucks that were on site. Thiess approached HSE Rental as they had heard about the Large Mining Service Truck that HSE Rental supply and the two already in operation in WA and QLD.

Thiess needed a solution for their servicing issues and HSE Rental built and supplied a new HD785-7 latest spec Komatsu 90t dump truck with a newly completed large capacity service module. This unit went into operation in January '07 and has made a huge difference to the whole operation.
